Janice Mayer

Janice is the founder of Business Services Optimized. She has over 30 years of hands on experience in the accounting field. Janice decided to step out on her own and open BSO to help businesses better understand their accounting process and help them create their plan for success. Her goal is to give companies the insight of a CFO – comptroller without the expensive burden of adding an experienced CFO to their small business staff. Janice has worked intensively with the Restaurant, Banking, Property Management, Real Estate, and Retail Industries. She started out by working for her family’s small businesses in Idaho where she learned to love helping people with their businesses finances so that they can succeed. Janice has been employed by both Accounting Firms and privately held companies which has given her the ability to see both sides of the equation.

Jenell Mayer

Jenell has worked closely with Janice (her mother) over the many years that Janice has ran her own businesses in the early 2000’s and again in 2014 when she joined the BSO team. Her main function in the team is organizing all the mixed fragments of a business (organizational documents, receipts, data entry, sales data) and organizing it into a congruent, manageable records you can be proud to show investors. Jenell has backgrounds in many fields, the most applicable being business marketing, psychology and an intuitive knowledge of software programs. Don’t be uncomfortable to bring her a box or garbage bag of receipts (it has happened before!) she will work her magic in no time.
